I like: Costuming, Chocolate, Art, Web Designing, Video Games, Elves, my hubby Jon, my sweet little girl Sophia, Starburst Jellybeans, Castlevania, Soul Calibur, Winter, Pretty Things, Soundtracks, Plants, Snow, Pizza, Bouncy Puppies, SLEEP... yep, that's good for now.

I don't like: itching, arguing, rubber (like tires and sticky rubber... eww), watermelons, and overly spicy things. I love sushi but hate wasabi. (I have a Japanese friend who also hates wasabi, so I think I'm pretty safe. ^_^)

I live in the Northwest (as if you couldn't tell by the cons I frequent). I'm LDS (that would be Christian). I've been doing costumes since I was a little girl (I looooove Halloween), but my first cosplay was Halloween 1999, I was Sailor Moon (no you may not see pictures... it was resourceful, but still ghetto-y). The next year I again returned to the thrift store to get old dollar t-shirts and sweats and made a basic 1st edition Sylphiel from Slayers (also no pics). My first anime convention was in March 2002 for the first year of Anime Oasis in Boise, Idaho. I was Aeris, and craptacular at that, but at least the dress and jacket survived to be incorporated into the current version. I still have bits and pieces of the first Sailor Moon and Sylphiel costumes around in a box to remind me of how far I've come. ^_^

I'm also rather sentimental. I'll hang onto things for a ridiculous amount of time just because I've had them for so long to begin with (much to the irritation of my husband).

So begins my journey to balance a family with cosplay. I can never just do one thing at a time... sometimes I multi-task a wee bit too much... But! Onward and upward! Towards nifty and shiny things! Love, friendship, and saving the world!
